YIELD: Makes 1 serving
INGREDIENTS
1 T – honey
1/4 cup – mascarpone or cream cheese, softened
1 – whole-wheat flatbread, pre-cooked
1 – Honeycrisp apple (any varietal of apple will suffice), thinly sliced
1/4 cup – pecans pieces
1 T – pumpkin seeds
2 tsp. – cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Mix honey together with cheese until combined. Spread a thin layer on the flatbread and top with apple slices, pecan pieces, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and an extra drizzle of honey, if desired.
